These workshops are carefully crafted to address a wide range of topics, from managing stress and improving communication to navigating the complexities of relationships and building mental resilience. Whether it’s learning new coping strategies, gaining insight into social media’s impact, or strengthening mindfulness practices, our workshops are led by expert facilitators committed to providing participants with the skills and support they need to thrive.

Mindfulness Workshops with Gisèle Saliba
QUN Clinics had the pleasure of hosting two impactful Mindfulness Workshops led by Gisèle Saliba, a certified mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) teacher and psychotherapist. These workshops provided participants with practical mindfulness practices aimed at enhancing mental well-being and self-awareness.
During the workshops, participants explored the following mindfulness techniques and practices:
1. Beyond Automatic Pilot: Learning to break free from automatic, unconscious behaviors and fostering mindful awareness.
2. Living in Your Mind: Gaining a deeper understanding of how our thoughts shape our reality and learning to navigate them mindfully.
3. Staying Present: Developing the ability to remain in the present moment and reduce distractions that prevent mindfulness.
4. Recognize/Identify Aversion: Identifying negative reactions and aversions, and learning how to address them with compassion.
5. Let it Be and Let it Go: Practicing the art of non-attachment and learning to release thoughts and emotions that no longer serve us.
6. Thoughts Are Not Facts: Understanding that our thoughts are not necessarily true, and learning to observe them without judgment.
7. How to Better Take Care of Myself (Self-Compassion): Embracing self-compassion as a key tool for personal well-being and growth.
These workshops provided participants with invaluable tools to manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and cultivate a deeper sense of peace and mindfulness in their daily lives.
Couple Conflicts Workshop with Sara Bejjani
On February 8, 2025, QUN Clinics hosted a 3-hour workshop on “Couple Conflicts”, led by Sara Bejjani. This insightful session was designed to address the common issues couples face in their relationships, offering valuable guidance on understanding and managing conflicts in a healthy way.
The workshop delved into several key questions and topics, including:
1. What is conflict?: Defining conflict and understanding its role in relationships.
2. What do couples fight for?: Exploring the underlying issues that lead to arguments and disagreements.
3. Fighting is a must: Discussing the importance of conflict in relationships and when it can be constructive.
4. When do we fight most? Early or later in the relationship?: Examining when conflicts are most likely to arise and how they evolve over time.
5. What is bickering?: Identifying the difference between minor disagreements and more serious conflicts.
6. Is there a difference between genders?: Exploring how gender differences can influence communication and conflict styles in relationships.
7. How to stop fighting?: Offering strategies to resolve conflicts peacefully and strengthen relationships.
This workshop provided participants with essential tools and insights to manage conflicts effectively and foster healthier, more communicative relationships.


Learning Difficulties Workshop with Rola Arnous
QUN Clinics understands the critical need for parents to gain insights into how to support their children, especially when they notice their child is exhibiting signs of being different. On February 17, 2024, QUN Clinics launched a valuable workshop on “Learning Difficulties” with Rola Arnous, an experienced educational psychologist specializing in special needs. The session aimed to answer key questions and provide parents with a deeper understanding of how to address learning challenges.
The workshop addressed the following important topics:
1. Why isn’t my daughter writing in a straight line?: Understanding common handwriting difficulties and their underlying causes.
2. Why does my son not know how to read?: Exploring reading difficulties and the possible factors affecting reading development.
3. Why is my son failing?: Identifying the reasons behind academic struggles and offering ways to address them.
4. What is the difference between struggles in studies and learning difficulties?: Clarifying the distinction between general academic challenges and learning disabilities.
5. What are the types of Learning Difficulties (LD)?: An overview of the various types of learning difficulties children may face.
6. What are the causes? How can we intervene?: Examining the potential causes of learning difficulties and the best ways to intervene and support children effectively.
This workshop was designed to empower parents with the knowledge they need to better understand their children’s learning challenges and equip them with practical strategies to support their child’s development.
Social Media: Guilty Pleasure Workshop with Sarah Bejjani
On April 15, 2024, Sarah Bejjani led an engaging workshop in collaboration with Pastoral Universitaire, in Bikfaya on the topic of “Social Media: Guilty Pleasure.” This session addressed the growing influence of social media on daily life and focused on two crucial aspects: control and balance.
The workshop provided participants with insights on:
– Control: Learning how to manage and regulate social media use to prevent negative impacts on mental health, productivity, and personal relationships.
– Balance: Discovering how to strike a healthy balance between online activity and offline engagement, ensuring that social media use supports rather than disrupts well-being.
Through practical strategies and reflective discussions, Sarah Bejjani helped attendees gain greater awareness of their social media habits and provided tools to cultivate a balanced, mindful approach to its use.


Mental Strength in Times of Crisis Webinar with Marie Rose Najem & Sarah Bejjani
In response to the ongoing war in Lebanon, QUN Clinics recognized the urgent need for support and guidance during such difficult times. On November 8, 2024, QUN Clinics was hosted by CEREC for an essential webinar on Mental Strength in Times of Crisis, led by Marie Rose Najem and Sarah Bejjani. This session provided participants with critical tools and insights to help strengthen their mental resilience and cope with the overwhelming emotional stress caused by the ongoing conflict.

5. Stress vs. Chronic Stress Symptoms: Differentiating between temporary stress and long-term chronic stress and recognizing the signs.
6. Common Stress Reactions: Identifying typical psychological and physical responses to stress.
7. Anxiety Symptoms: Recognizing the signs of anxiety and understanding its emotional and physical effects.
8. Disadvantages of Anxiety: Exploring how untreated anxiety can negatively impact overall well-being.
9. Psychological First Aid (PFA): An introduction to the basic principles of Psychological First Aid and its role in crisis situations.
10. Goal of PFA: Understanding the primary objectives of providing psychological support in emergency situations.
11. Emergency Preparedness and Mental Health: Discussing the importance of mental health preparation in the face of disasters and crises.
12. Treatment for Anxiety & Fear: Exploring effective treatment options for managing anxiety and fear during crises.
13. Strategies to Improve Mental Health: Practical techniques and strategies to build mental strength and improve overall mental health in stressful times.
This webinar was designed to empower participants with the knowledge and strategies necessary to cope with the mental health challenges arising from ongoing crises, equipping them with practical tools to improve resilience and mental well-being.
Toxic Relationship Workshop with Sarah Bejjani & Grégoire Toranian
On July 20, 2024, QUN Clinics hosted an impactful and collaborative workshop on Toxic Relationships, presented by Sarah Bejjani and Grégoire Toranian. This workshop combined two powerful therapeutic approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Analytical Therapy, to provide participants with comprehensive tools for identifying and navigating toxic dynamics in relationships.
The workshop focused on:
– Understanding Toxic Relationships: Defining what makes a relationship toxic and recognizing the signs of unhealthy patterns in personal and professional connections.
– CBT Techniques: Exploring how thoughts, behaviors, and emotions influence relationships, and learning how to challenge negative thought patterns and maladaptive behaviors.
– Analytical Approaches: Diving into deeper emotional and psychological aspects of relationships to gain insight into unconscious dynamics and unresolved issues that contribute to toxicity.
Through this collaborative approach, the trainers were able to provide a dual perspective on healing from toxic relationships, empowering participants to cultivate healthier, more balanced connections moving forward.


Communication in Hard Situations Workshop with Jane Abi Saad
On May 6, 2023, QUN Clinics had the privilege of hosting Jane Abi Saad for an enriching workshop on “Communication in Hard Situations”. In this session, participants explored the importance of effective communication during challenging times, equipping themselves with strategies to navigate conflicts and difficult conversations both at work and in personal relationships.
The workshop focused on:
– Assertive Communication & Communication Styles: Understanding different communication styles and learning how to communicate assertively, ensuring that your needs are clearly expressed while respecting others.
– Managing Workplace Conflicts: Developing strategies to handle conflicts constructively and maintain positive professional relationships, even in stressful situations.

Stress Management & Resilience Workshop with Jane Abi Saad
On December 5, 2023, QUN Clinics hosted another insightful workshop led by Jane Abi Saad on the essential topic of Stress Management & Resilience. This session offered participants valuable tools and techniques for navigating stress and building resilience in both personal and professional environments.
The workshop focused on:

Self-Care Workshop with Jane Abi Saad
specializing in areas such as employee skill development, coaching programs, student guidance, career specialization, job-seeking tools, and discovering untapped potentials. Her expertise and practical insights provided a solid foundation for our Self-Care workshop, focusing on how individuals can prioritize their well-being in both personal and professional settings.
During this session, participants explored key concepts, including:
– Self-Care as a Preventive & Corrective Measure: Understanding how self-care practices can prevent burnout and help individuals recover from stress or challenging situations.
– The Wheel of Self-Care: A holistic approach to self-care, emphasizing the importance of balance across multiple areas of life, from physical health to emotional and social well-being.
– Self-Care Practices in the Workplace: Strategies for integrating self-care into the work environment, promoting a healthy, productive, and supportive workplace culture.
